Some Reflections on Ethics
My latest print book Some Reflections on Ethics is now available at createspace and also at amazon
Book description:
"The aim of a rational ethics should be to maximize freedom and avenues of happiness and to minimize avoidable suffering."
In this highly thought provoking and stimulating book, the author, Dr. Ramendra, has briefly and critically discussed the ethical ideas of G. E. Moore, Bertrand Russell, Lokayat, Buddha, Epicurus and John Stuart Mill before expounding his own ideas in a logical manner. The author has convincingly advocated a rational ethics based on human needs and desires.

Book on metaehics
I have started writing a book in Hindi on metaethics, adhinitishastra. It will be a text book for students of philosophy.
My earlier two exclusive writings on ethics are in English: The Ethical Philosophy of Bertrand Russell and Some Reflections on Ethics.
The first one is my Ph. D. thesis on Russell, whereas the second one, published as a free e-book, contains my original ideas on various ethical topics. I am hoping to incorporate the main ideas in these two books in the Hindi book on metaethics which I am presently working on.

I have added 12 new chapters, including chapters on "multiculturalism", "anarchism" and "Gandhi and Ambedkar on Caste discrimination".
I am feeling good this new year after completing this work. I was working on this for last six months, apart from my normal college duties.
